In-Person Adaptive Yoga Courses

YOGA FOR EVERY ABILITY
Adaptive yoga classes are for individuals living with mobility disabilities, such as partial or total paralysis, amputation, spinal cord injury, severe arthritis, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, brain injury, spina bifida, and cerebral palsy. We welcome students who do and do not use a wheelchair. Adaptive class participants must be able to follow simple instructions.
Classes are led by adaptive yoga teacher, Michael Amy MSPT, E-RYT, OYI, a Physical Therapist for 20+ years and a registered yoga instructor at Open Sky Yoga in Rochester, NY.
Adaptive yoga classes are hosted at Central Rock Gym, located at 725 Averill Ave, Rochester, NY 14607 from 4:15-5:30pm.
Classes are conducted with the aid of teacher assistants for both in-chair movements and accessing the floor as tolerated. All props are provided. Please dress in comfortable clothing.

- Drop in fee $15/class, or pre-register with an 8-Week class pass for $96
